The practice's more than 180 board-certified radiologists are committed to providing the highest quality subspecialty diagnostic care for patients, referring physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare clients.  
 
University Radiology physicians have advanced training in all modalities and subspecialty areas, including pediatric, women's, musculoskeletal, body, cardiac, nuclear medicine imaging, and neuro-interventional and oncology interventional radiology. Founded in 1969, University Radiology staffs, manages, and provides preliminary and final subspecialty interpretations and consultative support for nine affiliated regional medical centers, 24/7/365. It maintains a strong outpatient presence through 24 community-based imaging centers throughout New Jersey that extend access to the full range of modality imaging. 
 
In addition, University Radiology serves as the academic radiology faculty at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and its physicians have received many honors for academic research, teaching, community involvement and charitable giving.

In 2016, University Radiology received the St. Peter’s Health Care System’s highest honor by being selected for the Bishop’s Award, recognizing commitment and dedication to the community.  University Radiology also received a Cancer Foundation annual award named after one of its radiologists for work in Pediatric Cancer.?
