Delivering exceptional radiology services in every patient and referring physician encounter

Catawba Radiology, Hickory, NC, was founded in 1950 and is the primary provider of diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology services in the Unifour area of western North Carolina, encompassing Catawba, Caldwell, Burke, and Alexander Counties in the Catawba Valley. A practice of 18 subspecialty trained radiologists and three advanced practice providers, Catawba Radiology provides subspecialized interpretations to the Catawba Valley Health System, Duke LifePoint's Frye Regional Medical Center and Rutherford Regional Health System, and UNC Caldwell as well as local specialty practices. Key investments in sophisticated IT infrastructure have created the area's first imaging timeline enabling an enhanced patient experience by eliminating the need for duplicate studies and increasing more immediate access to specialized interpretations.

Catawba Radiology is an active and enthusiastic member of its community, supporting many local civic and charitable organizations, including the Catawba Medical Foundation, the Hickory Community Theatre, and the Safe Harbor Rescue Mission.
