Scott A. Bundy, MD, FACR, is CEO of Strategic Radiology and chair of the Executive Committee, responsible for the organization's strategic vision. He is a practicing neuroradiologist with Radiology Associates of North Texas (RANT), PA, a 200-plus, physician-owned private practice radiology group based in Dallas-Fort Worth. He graduated with honors from Southern Methodist University with a BS in Biomedical Engineering and graduated cum laude from the Creighton University School of Medicine. Dr. Bundy completed both his radiology residency and fellowship in neuroradiology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. In 2010, Dr. Bundy helped orchestrate the multi-practice merger that formed RANT and has served on the Board and Executive Committee since it was formed in 2011. In 2015, Dr. Bundy was appointed to represent RANT on the Board of Managers for Strategic Radiology (SR). In 2017, he was elected to SR’s Executive Committee and has served as Secretary and Vice Chair. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology.
Mr. Thomson leads operations for the Strategic Radiology coalition of independent private radiology practices as chief operating officer. He brings more than 30 years of experience in practice management, operations, mergers & acquisitions, and revenue cycle optimization to the organization. Most recently, Mr. Thomson served as Sr. Vice President, Practice Management, Zotec Partners, Orlando, FL, leading the division to become the largest outsourced practice management firm in the U.S. He has helped manage the businesses of nearly 100 private radiology practices during his career, and held leadership positions with CBIZ Medical Management Professionals, Orlando, FL, and Medical Management Professionals, Orlando, FL. Mr. Thomson holds a B.S. from Virginia Tech and completed the Emerging Leaders Program at Harvard Business School. His areas of expertise include leadership, radiology finance, joint venture development, strategic planning, process improvement, practice operations, revenue cycle management, ambulatory services, and business valuations.
Lisa is a certified healthcare professional in health care quality. She has more than 30 years experience in health care, progressing from bedside to C-suite. She was present at the formation of Strategic Radiology as a Chief Administrative Officer for a large group in the Southwest. She spearheaded the formation of the Strategic Radiology Patient Safety Organization (SRPSO) and leads the quality and safety activities to support the network. She is President and founder of Crowne Healthcare Advisors, which provides health care consulting and support for large medical groups and health systems around quality, safety, and strategic planning.
Mr. Schriger is responsible for the expansion and development of the Strategic Radiology membership programs and serves as the coalition’s ambassador to the independent radiology community. Most recently, he was director of sales and business development for Direct Radiology, a national, radiologist-owned teleradiology provider acquired by Philips Healthcare earlier this year. Additional responsibilities included customer implementation and onboarding, customer service and retention and radiologist recruitment. Schriger began his career in radiology with Nighthawk Radiology Services in 2005. Dan lives in Couer D'Alene, Idaho.
Ms. Bossy is responsible for supporting Strategic Radiology’s CEO and COO, organizing four large off-site quarterly board meetings annually, and documenting the activities and decisions of numerous SR committees. Thorough and well-organized she has supported and organized C-level executives across multiple industries, including the CEO and president of one of the nation’s largest, private radiology practices, the CIO of a Fortune 100 energy company, the regional managing tax partner at a Big Four accounting firm, and the SVP of web strategy at a Fortune 100 financial services company. Chessa lives in Connecticut.
Ms. Fremer is responsible for leveraging SR member benchmarks to help practices optimize their revenue cycle. She has a proven track record in turning around and growing underperforming businesses through optimization of sales, operations, and client management. Experienced in implementing cross-departmental initiatives involving IT and operational transformation, Fremer builds teams that meet deliverables. She implemented technology and operational revenue cycle initiatives across multiple facilities at Medaphis and led business transformation globally at Precyse Solutions. Sharon lives in Georgia.
Mr. Polmanteer is responsible for developing analytics and business intelligence for Strategic Radiology, including support for its Patient Safety Organization, its data warehouse, and RadIQ™, the coalition's business intelligence operations. He has more than 20 years of IT experience, with deep knowledge of systems analysis and design and software development and is architect of a cloud-based infrastructure to facilitate SR’s product development, data warehousing, and reporting projects. His lights-out automation process facilitates file transfers and processing, data cube generation, monitoring of cloud environment, and persistent restful API interfaces to outside services in support of coalition member projects. Dave lives in Michigan.
Ms. Proval is responsible for internal and external marketing and communication activities for Strategic Radiology, a nationwide coalition of independent radiology practices. Prior to joining SR, Ms. Proval spent decades in media and content development and covered the business of radiology for 18 years. She was the founding editor of Radiology Business Journal, and also served as VP, publishing, ImagingBiz and publisher and editor of Decisions in Imaging Economics. Ms. Proval launched the Radiology 100, originally conceived as a national listing of the 100 largest private radiology practices, with collaborator CliftonLarsonAllen. Cheryl lives in California.
As SR's former Chair and CEO, Dr. Moore served Strategic Radiology with distinction for more than 10 years. He has had a long, luminary career in practice leadership and organized radiology, at the city, state, and national levels. Dr Moore is former long-time President of Charlotte Radiology in Charlotte, NC, past Chair of the American College of Radiology (ACR) Board of Chancellors, past President of the ACR, and has represented the ACR in the American Medical Association House of Delegates since 1996. He served as a nuclear engineer in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Service and was a clinical assistant professor of radiology at Duke University. Dr. Moore lives in North Carolina.
